2021年7月29-30日，首届YNU-SWIFAR — NAOC-SSTD Mephisto巡天数据处理双边研讨会在云南大学中国西南天文研究所1113会议室召开。1.6米多通道测光巡天望远镜（Mephisto）项目组成员以及中国科学院国家天文台巡天观测和三十米望远镜研发研究团组（NAOC-SSTD）、云南天文台的相关老师参加了此次会议。

        NAOC-SSTD团组负责人薛随建研究员和Mephisto项目负责人、中国西南天文研究所（SWIFAR）所长刘晓为教授介绍双方基本情况并致辞。刘项琨副教授代表Mephisto项目组就1.6米多通道测光巡天望远镜建设及五十公分望远镜基本情况作了汇报。邹虎副研究员代表SSTD团组介绍Mephisto数据处理方案。双方团队成员各自介绍开展的相关工作，云南天文台王传军介绍数据处理中心建设计划。此次会议围绕Mephisto巡天的数据处理需求，深入讨论了数据处理过程中的各种问题，以及双方合作的具体内容、要求和形式等，为后续开展Mephisto巡天数据处理、科学研究与合作、培养巡天数据处理人才队伍奠定了基础。

    On July 29-30, 2021, the YNU-SWIFAR — NAOC-SSTD Kick-off Bilateral Seminar on Mephisto Data Processing was held at Yunnan University. Members of the Multi-channel Photometric Survey Telescope (Mephisto) project, Sky Survey and TMT Development group from National Astronomical Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences (NAOC-SSTD), experts and students from Yunnan Observatories, Chinese Academy of Sciences and Yunnan University took part in the meeting.

    Professor Suijian Xue, head of NAOC-SSTD group, and Professor Xiaowei Liu, head of Mephisto project and director of South-Western Institute For Astronomy Research (SWIFAR), introduced the basic situations of both sides and delivered opening speeches. On behalf of Mephisto group, Associate Professor Liu Xiangkun gave a report on the construction status of Mephisto and 50 cm telescope array. Associate researcher Zou Hu, from NAOC-SSTD group, introduced the scheme of Mephisto data processing. Team members from both sides introduced the relevant work carried out respectively, and Chuanjun Wang, from Yunnan Observatories, introduced the 1st phase construction plan of data processing center. Focusing on the needs of Mephisto data processing, participants discussed in depth various problems in the data processing process, as well as the specific contents, requirements and forms of cooperation between both sides, which laid a solid foundation for the follow-up development of Mephisto data processing pipelines, scientific   cooperation and cultivating a team of sky survey data processing personnel.
